This is a recent incident happened to me, was interviewed for tcs, salary discussion happened on 12th March and was told to wait for final approval and was told that offer letter would be rolled out in 2 weeks. Hr did not negotiate on the CTC either. After waiting for a month i tried reaching HR they did not respond. After multiple emails they simply say that they cannot move forward due to high deviations. Guys is this normal in TCS that even after final CTC discussions ,candidates get rejectd.

Due to obvious conditions my comp for the calendar year (salary+bonus) is back to 2017 levels although my overall sales are more than double and 1/3 less total comp than last year. It seems like comp opportunity is always decreasing during good times (I get it) but when it comes to adjusting during bad times, nothing was done. Is this normal for industry sales?

I need advice from younger 🐠 who are closer to my son’s age than I am. He’s finishing up his 1st year in college and he’s gained the Freshman 15+. He plays a college sport, so he’s getting some activity, but with classes a hybrid of in-person and online, he’s not as active as usual and I think he’s enjoying unlimited food on his dining plan. Question about negotiating when hired-- During negotiations would it be weird to ask for an annual review for promotion until I am promoted to senior producer? Usually people ask for vacation or salary but i'm more concerned about making a title jump and not sitting at the same position for three more years.

How do I be a decent manager to a coworker who's upset I've been promoted twice in two years and they haven't?
