Not leaving for money. The work is not similar, also the group at the other big 4 is selling a lot more work than the group at PwC. Genuinely better learning opps, different scope of work and skill set being developed, more stability (not 20% layoffs every other week) , better culture, and the higher paycheck doesn't hurt.
You better have a good reason. Two big 4s in a row would be hard to justify, except a salary bump
PwC has implemented a new cohort structure where all staff is paid at the same base level ... performance bonuses are based on my individual performance but tempered by overall firm performance.
It's pretty easy... Everyone knows Pdubs is broke AF and the raises and bonuses are bush league. Tell them that you don't feel appreciated.
@M1 - what do you mean hard to justify? i do, but you can't bring up toxic culture about your employer because it would make you look bad. @P1 - that's the truth. But the thought is, what do you say when they ask why you didn't pursue that at pwc before coming to us?
How do you expect culture to be better at another Big 4 / similar group? Why don't you try something else?
Leave out the pay part and that's a pretty good answer OP
I jumped big 4s for a few reasons and everyone understood. Mobility isn't what they advertise and people know that
