Consider checking out a personal shopper. I went to one at Nordstrom and enjoyed the experience and picked up some great pieces.
What I liked was the reduced amount of decisions. No real searching for outfits and sizes. The only question was, do I see myself wearing this again? If so, I bought it .
I’ve liked using stitch fix so that I don’t have to think about it. You can provide general direction for your stylist and have something ready for you without spending much time!
I’d check out Quince and Everlane! I’ve gotten a few pairs of shoes and jewelry from them I really love.
Stay away from trendy. Trends get old quickly and make you look irrelevant. Instead, invest in timeless, classy styles that will look good for years.
Watch some YouTube videos of women with similar undertones and body shapes to help you find styles and color palettes that will shine on you! This helped me immensely in revamping my own wardrobe.
I second the idea to try out a personal shopper. White House Black Market always brings additional items for you to try on when you get a fitting room. I've bought a couple things I otherwise wouldn't have if it weren't for them! And, even if you don't buy, taking the time to try things on in store will help you find what outfits make you feel comfortable and chic!
