If you are starting as an Audit Associate some time from now with Deloitte or any of the big 4, do they expect you to have passed/completed all 4 parts by the time you start? Received the Becker Reimbursement email from the recruiter not too long ago but have yet to start. I’ve seen plenty of people get to Senior at a big 4 firm without the CPA so I am a bit confused in that aspect. Any helpful feedback will be very much appreciated.

Anyone make a move to MBB LS arm?
I interviewed for Data Analyst role at EY, it went well and the job sounds great, but I'm a bit hesitant to leave PwC because I really like the firm and I'm just 8 months in my job as an associate at a subgroup of ITS that has some focus on technology and analytics but it's mostly tax compliance.
I do want to transition to data analytics but I'm not sure if it's a good idea to go to another big 4, or maybe just look for a position in industry.
Any advice or similar experience?

Which practice are you in? If you don't like your job, maybe you should just leave. It'll make you happy and the firm will have one less fake employee :)

Ok so layoffs? No. We pretty much didn't have them. At MBB it's up or out. So yeah shouldn't complain about that OP. Difficult middle managers? Who on earth doesn't have that? You think MBB is void of management flaws? Interesting. YE compensation? Depending on your level and year, I do think some people are over paid. Is it rough sometimes yes? Do we work as hard as our I banking counter parts that get their huge bonuses? No.
People as in the 99% vs. 1% ? Got it.
@EY1 let me point you to all the threads around YE compensation, layoffs, difficult middle managers etc.

@EY1 also it is not just an EY or practice specific thing. Just a general observation I made based on the threads I see. No need to get all your feathers ruffled over it.
@EY2 - let me reiterate - this is not specific to EY but a perceived trend about big 4 posts. No need to get defensive about it. If you are not dating the hot girl, don't have to pretend the girl you are dating is hot. Arguably, she could have a great personality and the hot girl might have problems of her own making, not debating which one is better. Get my drift ?
@EY1 How is your 1.5% "bonus"?
