Big wrists currently wearing a Hublot Big Bang Unico King Rose Gold (45mm) but want something new. Considering mostly within the Rolex line-up: Deepsea Sea-dweller (JC), YM 2 TT, or Sky-dweller TT. Thoughts? Images in comments.

Woah! Black *DIAL*!

What about the ceramic AP ROO? Beautiful piece of machinery, but slightly similar to the Hublot.

I was considering AP but couldn’t find something big enough that wasn’t a bulky offshore and too similar to the Hublot

YM 2 TT

I’d probably add the Sea-Dweller 43mm to the mix. It’s big, but proportionate, it has the cyclops, it has the red writing, and it’ll be desirable forever.

Go for the TT!

Personally not a fan of the YM2. That’s a lot of money to be paying for such a silly complication. Sky-Dweller isn’t really a sports watch. If you want a sports watch, go for the Deepsea. I feel like the lack of date magnifier is what makes the watch. I think you’d grow to appreciate it.

I have a skydweller and love it. That’d be my choice

Just throwing out a choice stylistically close to the Big Bang like the AP ROO above.

Very nice

I’m torn because the YM 2 is beautiful but has very little actual functionality, and the sky-dweller doesn’t look as sporty as I’d like it to (I also have a TT DJ in 36 that I don’t wear anymore). The Deepsea with no date magnifier throws me off.

I’m not too concerned about availability - can pull the trigger on the Deepsea right now (AD just called offering it) and the others shouldn’t be too hard to get.

Is there anything outside the Rolex lineup I should consider? Have been pretty disappointed with the Hublot tbh

Consider a panerai

Thank you. I’m trying to stay away from something that’s too close to the current Hublot tbh

Just another suggestion. PAM 384 with the dogfang power reserve.
