If wlb is desired.. I'd highly recommend booz
Deloitte. Having worked with both—they both have issues but Deloitte has stronger people and is a better place to grow.
That being said, apply to both and use offers against each other for more $$
Deloitte does not actually pay more in every case. If you are in tech and get hired into the SIG there's a good chance your Booz Allen offer will actually be higher than what Deloitte will offer you because there is much more variation in salaries here.
Also as others said your wlb will almost certainly be better here so your hourly wage might mean you're coming out ahead here even if your Deloitte salary is technically higher.
Personally I think the culture tends to be better at BAH too. Obviously always team dependent, there are some terrible BAH teams and some great Deloitte teams, but I personally like the supportive culture I've found here and have always gotten a back-stabbing vibe from most of my interactions with Deloitte people, even in interviews.
If your Deloitte offer is significantly higher than Booz though then it probably makes sense to go with that unless you got bad vibes or something.
D will pay you more. I’m trying to leave bc of pay.
Booz pays decently if you're in the SIG and on the technical route.. I started at 100k right out of masters as a senior consultant.
Can’t go wrong with either. Booz takes the top spot for WLB and retirement. Deloitte typically pays better, but in this climate, that could be a toss up. However, Deloitte offers bonuses (I think) and you may get more practical experience, quicker. Both offers intelligent colleagues. Just compare your offers, once you receive the other and then decide.
I like D better overall but WLB was great at BAH and their 401k was legit

Also consider what type of work you want to do. Booz is the clear leader for mission critical work. But if you aren’t passionate about defense/intel projects, D might be better

If you’re a working mom or don’t want to work more than 50 hours a week, Booz. If you want to be highly compensated in the fed space then go Deloitte.

Deloitte then booz. Had one C with 4yoe at deloitte for maybe 1 year then hopped to booz for 30k more now making 130ish. He even made more than a M2 who left recently.
They get paid less because you basically trade no travel and wlb for money
Deloitte will give you $$ and more growth in your career. D also gives eoy bonus for all levels unlike stingy Booz
Truth! Booz threw me a damn loaf of bread for EOY bonus 😂😂
The culture and work life balance of Booz is far better than Deloitte, but it all comes down to money.
Welcome OP, it’s not all doom and gloom, but your experience is team/market specific.
