Just signed the outside employment form in KPMG onboarding system. I actually wanted to start dabbling in creative writing as a potentially monetizable hobby, but I'm guessing this may pose issues.
Definitely interested in the "exception from this policy may be requested if provision of non-professional services doesn't interfere with one's duties of causes conflict of interest" clause, though. Has anyone been able to get one of those before?

BAH as a firm is markedly better at fed cyber than Deloitte is, so just in terms of developing and building your career in fed cyber, BAH hands down.
That said, BAH pay is all over the place. For example, you could be an associate (equivalent to Deloitte SC) in one admin pyramid making $85k or you could be the exact same associate in another admin pyramid making $150k. BAH benefits are a bit better than Deloitte's overall, though comp and career progression are typically better at Deloitte on average.
If you're talking about commercial, BAH pretty much only does cyber in that space, but the BAH commercial side is miniscule compared to Deloitte, so I'd go for Deloitte hands down in commercial.
Can confirm re: pay at BAH. The best way I can describe it is that BAH is a series of fiefdoms. If you’re in a good admin pyramid with contracts that support high salaries, then it really is a great place to be. Otherwise, it kind of sucks.

Deloitte...I like drinking booz but that’s about it
I’m guessing you are GPS since you are comparing the Two.
- Deloitte has better growth salary/bonus wise, BAH really depends on the contract you are on
- BAH pay can be very good, but depends on the contract
- BAH has some better benefits (401k for one) while Deloitte has others (paternity)
Overall it really depends on what you mean when you say cyber work because it’s such a broad field. I personally would choose Deloitte
