Try going to a few events organized by General Assembly. They are in Nyc, Boston, Chicago. Coding school, but lots of tech networking as well.

Just read tech blogs and get educated on household technologies that corporations use. You can even try out some free classes on udemy or code academy

Blogs

Read TechCrunch for like 10 minutes a day, you'll be up to speed on most the latest news. Most articles have click through links that will explain the tech in a little more detail as well

Stay in the biz. We got too many wannabes already and you're valuable as is

School? Lol.

I'm currently looking for a music therapy equivalency program. Google has only done so much help as it keeps bringing up masters programs and full degrees. I'm in Wisconsin, currently teaching full time, and I love my school district, so it's not like I can take a couple of years off. I just have a lot of students with special needs who would benefit from music therapy. I have done extra classes for them where we do stuff that I've picked up from others, but I want the certification.

I’m an Environmental Protection Specialist and make pretty good money for what I do. I just feel like I have more to offer than being a worker bee in a system at 25. Any suggestions that won’t require me taking a crazy pay cut? I’m pretty much open to anything.

Coming from ACN, senior analyst, 3yrs total experience so far & wanting to get into the data analytics/BI work. Currently have had experience working with SQL developer, OBIEE/OBIA, Teradata in ERP and Healthcare projects. I also have my AWS Cloud Practitioner Cert, hoping to eventually get the Data Analytics Cert later. What are my chances of finding a role with another company that'll let me work in BI/data analytics and build up my skill at the same time? Been thinking of leaving ACN.

I don’t work then past 5pm or anything out of the ordinary for this time of the year. I am so grateful!
