What company do you work for? I’ve never heard of a perk like this.
Oliver Wyman - it’s not black and white. if you’re traveling frequently you can request a travel expense through your talent manager and if approved you can expense a travel credit card annual fee that has perks like TSA pre-check reimbursement and lounge access. It’s revisited annually I believe
I personally would downgrade CSP to freedom, then apply for CSR and use that for travel/restaurant spend. You’ll earn a much better return on that kind of spend over the Amex platinum and you’ll be fully utilizing your Company’s annual fee expense. This doesn’t even consider the other benefits that’d come with the CSR, such as the annual $300 travel credit or door dash credits.
once I receive the SUB and then applying to the CSR. Is that even worth the time? Any thoughts are appreciated!
I haven’t personally done it, but have always heard 30 days as well and know that chase can be pretty picky with their policies, so would probably play it safe and just wait it out

Always chase the SUB. Not doing so is a huge opportunity loss.

Yes, downgrade and get the CSP. Next year, upgrade to the CSR if you want the benefits.
