Hello, I am in USI GES tax at DUSI. I love my job but not my team and mgmt anymore. I'm a performer and I'm dumped with work of 2 ppl while others are searching for work. I am burned out.

I resigned and accepted a job with EY GDS with a huge pay bump that DUSI can't match but I also gave up my potential promotion for 2023.

I've been feeling bad about putting my papers down and letting go off my promotion but I am really tired. I took up this job as an escape.

Hi all- My SO is currently at a Big4 & was initially preparing for S&O roles at GCP but given the high number of ex MBB consultants hired, they believe its just more competition to get the offer & to eventually get promoted over time.

Instead, they have decided to pursue program manager or cloud consultant roles, which they feel might have a lower barrier to entry from an assessment standpoint. Not sure if the bowl agrees but would like to get your thoughts, thanks!

Curious if anyone has had to share some sort of evidence, screenshots, documents, etc. backing up their current comps figures.

Currently at Meta (working as a Program Manager) and considering accepting a role with Disney Streaming to support the scaling of Disney+. My dream however is to eventually work at Google. Would my application be considered more interesting coming straight from Meta or would diversified experience with Meta and Disney+ be better? Would love to hear perspectives on this! Thanks.

Received a verbal offer/commitment from the engineering team 3 weeks after my interview process. Still sitting and waiting (1.5 weeks) to have the conversation about compensation expectations and finalizing the offer. Is the Google hiring process typically this slow? Leaning towards an L4 but maybe they give L5 if the interview feedback was as good as I thought it went. Any thoughts on how I should negotiate base and equity? Maybe ask for sign on too?

Serious question- since team matching is taking so long. Is it worth taking another offer for now and switch to Google few months down the line? Not the most ethical I know, but I can’t keep on waiting… and I can’t stand another second of staying in my current job
