Anyone have or recommend a remote flexible well paying job preferably in auditing or tax for entry level. I hold a BA in computer information and I’ve been an insurance adjuster for the last 6 years. I’m ready to take on new career endeavors and would really like to find a company who is willing to give me an opportunity. BDO KPMG EY RSM Deloitte
Hello, I'm looking at a position within Paypal. My question, what is the work life balance, expectation for office (hybrid/remote/other) and is the pay comparable to other companies? Reviewing Director and Senior Director roles on the business side. I have over 15 years experience with multiple degrees. TIA!

I did a 6 month contract for $40/hr with 2 YOE at Capital One, and then exited to my current role for 130k at Citi (so TC went up ~60% in 6 months).
I'll probably exit Citi for a full-time role in big-tech or another investment bank like JP or Goldman Sachs. I think at-will contract roles can be a great side door into brand name companies that are otherwise difficult to access early in your career, and although they have the potential to convert, I think the real value is how these roles accelerate your resume for your next opportunity, make you more attractive to the companies you apply to, and that there's no shame in leaving contracts after a few months to pursue a more exciting/better paid opportunity.
Others may have different opinions on contract work, especially if you need things that some contract work doesn't provide, like PTO or health benefits. But particularly if you're <26 or have a spouse with those benefits, and you don't have better offers work full-time work, a contract job at Google probably gives you a better shot at eventually being a full-time Google employee than a full-time role at a firm no one's heard of.
Yes they can but to convert, you’ll have to go through the full interview process.
