Can anyone compare working at Kilpatrick and Greenberg Traurig in patent prosecution? Would you recommend one over the other and why?

This will be very dependent on the team/partners you are working with at each firm. But I’d look at places other than GT.

This is sooo specific and neither firm is particularly known for pros so I doubt many people have done pros at both. But maybe check the pros bowl just in case?

Yeah I will but even general culture works be helpful. I actually think Kilpatrick is considered an IP heavy firm.

PA1 is on point, personally know a few of the lateral shareholders and it was a huge relief for our group when they left. Avoid at all costs.

Hi all!

Had 2 interviews in the first half of December for a Product Specialist role, but it's been quiet since the 13th.
I know it's a busy time of year but is it common for a Recruiter to ghost?
I followed up with a Happy Holidays e-mail to no answer and the recruiter no longer has a #Hiring on their LinkedIn profile so I was just wondering if I should take the hint and move on.

Appreciate any and all input!

Partners - Do you ever take vacations?

I have been at my current firm for about 1.5 years, and in that entire time the partner in my group hasn't been out of the office a single time. Is that normal? I can't tell if it's standard for big law partners to not take time off, if the dynamics for my group may be different (only 1 partner in the entire group), or it the partner I work with is just a masochist.

In prosecution, if a patent attorney does not try to remove prior art cited by an examiner (eg a 130 affidavit to assert an exception under102(b)(1)(A)), but instead makes arguments to overcome the art, may the attorney made an admission that bars removing the art later in prosecution. Just received such a transfer case, looking for options.

Is it reasonably possible to jump from patent prosecution to trademark prosecution?
