I got a remote L6 SWE offer at Google but the RSUs are too low for that level ($625k over 4 years), could not negotiate it higher. I’ve accepted the offer but trying to be hopeful that I could make it more equitable in the future if I perform well. Are stock refreshers based on the initial RSU grant or solely based on performance? Google

Unfortunately, recruiters Ghost all the time. I've been thru it. This is what I would do:
1. Contact the Agency & ask to speak to any recruiter. If your recruiter is no longer employed there the will know and will have his/her caseload
2. Look for that same role on other platforms like Indeed & apply. Many companies post open positions on a Portal which allows many recruiters from different companies to submit candidates
3. It's the end of the year & Ghosting or not giving the candidate an update happens a lot at this time. You should begin to receive feedback and offers during the 2nd week of 2022.
4. Keep your head up 🙂. You are in demand. I have a love/hate relationship with recruiters. You will be ok : ). Hope this helps
It’s the holidays, and recruiters are absolutely swamped.
It’s completely normal to not hear.. they’re probably waiting on any updates after your interview. Many Google recruiters simply wait until they have anything to share before responding, otherwise they’d constantly be answering emails with “haven’t heard, I’ll follow up, stay tuned!”
I disagree with T1- Google recruiters do not ghost and applying multiple places will not matter/make a difference, it just weighs down the reviewing process.
