If i remember correctly, if you use Advanced Search, you’ll be able to see the ticket codes available (i think it’s “PN” for the pluspoints redemption). But, you have to enter the routes individually to see the ticket code availability

PZ for 1K and under and PN for GS

I would just apply the PlusPoints and waitlist even if PZ (you are 1k and lower) or PN (GS) is not immediately available. If you need help seeing the upgrade list in advance, DM me.
Asia has had lots of points plus availability recently
Brussels from ORD wasn’t bad for me. Got upgraded outbound but didn’t clear inbound.
I got upgraded recently SFO-Zurich both ways. But it was last minute - not guaranteed before hand.
Thanks, all- feels like they are basically releasing nothing in advanced...so, purchase + pray feels like best I can do?
If anyone has seen any available, let me know. Thanks!

PN/PZ are hard to come by in advance. However, if you waitlist and when PZ/PN are released at random times, you'll be able to clear even before the T-24 sweep.
If you are GS, you can force upgrades at T-72 if some conditions are met
I cleared 4 tickets on Edinburgh to Dulles at time of booking, 3 weeks in advance. No idea why.

That means PN/PZ space is available at booking
I was able to clear two ORD to LHR on a Friday night. For the return I had to use miles to book Polaris seats.
Just cleared a couple from IAD to BCN (Barcelona) right after booking. Didn’t get the first leg though LAX-IAD, no surprise.
Pretty sure the return trip will clear both legs but will have to wait and see.
