Is it SAFE joining Wipro as technical lead (B3) with 37LPA? Knowing that package is pretty high as compared to collogues in same band. HR is not ready to give project manager(C1) position.
Appreciate your suggestions/input.
Would there be any scope of increment going forward?

Hi there,
I have joined Amdocs in the first week of May. I am working in afternoon shift and entitled to get the shift allowance. But 2 months salary credited but did not receive any of the shift allowance amount. Can anyone please tell me when Amdocs will credit the shift allowance??
Thanks

Hi Fellow fishes, I had an hr discussion with amdocs and during salary negotiation they told we can't give more than 11 lpa, they told it's the last offer and didn't negotiate at all. My current CTC is 7 lpa and YOE: 3 years. How can I renegotiate with them. Will they not process my offer letter if I ask them to reconsider? P.S. : I really want to join amdocs. Amdocs

McKinsey & Company I am joining the McKinsey & Company Boston office in late July and searching for housing in the meantime. If I could get some insight on the ratio of days in the office vs work from home that would be super helpful!
If I need to come into the office regularly I will try to find a place close by.
Bain & Company Is anyone else getting their application to Bain & Company pushed backed?
As of yesterday, even though I applied in May, and that while they liked my application, they will not be considering me till early 2023.
This is the second time they pushed back their consideration... 😞
So what’s the new McK comp breakdown?

What will the project dynamics be on a project staffed with 3mdps, a PL, and myself, a summer UG intern? Just got staffed and will be hearing more on Monday from the team, but it came across as an interesting staffing composition.
Have the feeling I'll be making quite a few slides as the only junior. Anyone staffed on a similar case composition?

Knowledge colleagues are under appreciated, treated as second class citizens, lower pay even though they can be staffed on studies with integrative colleagues and be expected to produce at the same rate (and hours). I'm on the expert track, which doesn't get great treatment either, but I feel knowledge is unfortunately worse. I have immense respect for my knowledge colleagues and this situation is upsetting.
Appreciate the honesty - so much so that you would suggest avoiding? I’m a traditional consultant at D
I've done the role in the past. Depends on what you're solving for, and the team ofc. In general, WLB can be better than traditional consulting (when not staffed on a dedicated study) and you get access to some firm benefits (e.g. excellent health insurance cover). It's a stable but slow career path with very little 'up or out' pressure.
Having said that, I do agree with everything McK1 said above. You feel second class. If you want the prestige of being at MBB and are looking to build your career as a management consultant, I would avoid this role.
