Can anyone tell me what it’s like working for a government contracting company for a Corp. dev role? It is one of their only roles that don’t require any clearance and it is super close to my house as well. The post salary looks to be very similar to what I’m currently making. Any idea if this job will be similar to 9 to 5?

I hate my job to the point where it is difficult to be productive, and I can barely get any work done (it’s like I have no energy). Am looking for a new role but who knows how long it will take for a final offer, and I don’t know if it would be right to quit my job and rest. I feel so burned out and trapped. What can I do right now to immediately improve my situation?

I am fairly new to the pharma industry (in for about 3 years). I recently was promoted to a global program manager role and while the programs I manage aren’t terribly complex, I’m finding it difficult to be confident when everyone I interact with is senior level (Director and above).
