Can someone explain how healthcare deductible works when switching jobs?
For example, if I already met my annual deductible with Employer X, then I switch jobs to Employer Y middle of the year.
Do I need to start contributing to annual deductible from scratch again?

Assuming I have the same plan at both employers. For example CareFirst BCBS PPO

If I decline health insurance at IBM, do I get a cash payment? I have an offer from another firm that gives me $5k... does IBM give anything?

I have an urgent situation that I need advice for: what job to take? I currently have 2 job offers. Offer A (Scientist 3): 70k with full benefits including 15 PTO days and 5k tuition assistance yearly. It was sent to me last Wednesday and yesterday they left me a voicemail asking for a decision at my earliest convenience. Offer B (Manager): 76k with full benefits minus tuition assistance and only 5 PTO days first year (15 days after). Both companies said they'd groom me to take management roles.

Currently scheduling “on sites” for a S&O role in CA. My referrer said they can hire as L5 or L6. Would like to land in the L6 bucket as I’ve heard 5 --> 6 is one of the more challenging promotions.

I do sales for a major engineering firm. Focused on new business and exploring new markets. Last year I was in the top 50% for order intake, and first in number of projects won along with number of new customers. I think this is extraordinary given the effort it takes to win new business.
