There was a layoff & it has been 4 months since. But I got through a company, signed the offer letter but there was a bgv issue, now the BgV issue will take atleast a month or more to be solved. My offer is not valid anymore, but the HR said the company is willing to wait for 15-20 days, however it will take longer. Should I start searching for an other job? Please help!

What is a good interview answer for leaving a job after a few months when the real reason is that you’re sleeping with one eye open in hopes of not being on the chopping block after two rounds of massive layoffs? Company culture is at an all-time low, and it will only go down from here from what I’ve seen in the short months I’ve been there.

Who is still in denial about a housing correction? The Fed just made another .75% increase. Powell said they won’t stop until inflation is 2%. He also said a recession would be better than the consequences of unchecked inflation. He announced he will bring rates to a “restrictive level” until “the job is done”. He said that labor demand needs to soften (ie: layoffs). He very explicitly said he wants to slash demand and that housing needs a “correction”.
