Can we all finally agree that recruiters are the new finance people? Meaning, they’re the bad guys now. I always thought (b/c I experienced it) that recruiters were very good with people, different personalities, and by and large, super ppl friendly. But now, I think they’re like most people you see in mass transit during rush hour: they hate where they’re going or hate where they spent the last 8 hours. I really think we need a new breed of recruiters. People who actually like job seekers.

I’d rather not put a title behind my name, but if I were looking to attract the attention of recruiters on LinkedIn (legal and public accounting) would using “JD” or “Esq.” behind my name help my name pop up in a search?

I’m new on the job search and still employed. I’m looking to grow further in the logistics industry. While I look for work, it’s a bit discouraging seeing how hundreds of people apply for positions I see on LinkedIn. I still apply because you never know and AI plays a huge effect in selections. Should I even bother applying when there are more than 100 applications?

I recently got shortlisted for a Product Manager position at Tracxn. There’s also an IPO coming up which is the reason I had applied.
But I have read some horrifying reviews about the company on Glassdoor, indeed and other forums.

I just started with a company as an HR Generalist. Within the 3 weeks of being there, my boss’s boss left, and today I found out my boss gave notice. My manager has given me rating 1 in confirmatory appraisal on may 18 may which happened after completion of 1 year at wipro.
I raised the issue of rating with my manager immediately , he convinced me not to worry , ratings are already submitted , I asked him to resubmit cause i don't deserve rating 1
So he said he will look if that is possible but didn't changed .Now after 3 months they are pressurizing me to put a resignation,what should i do?
