Thoughts on calendar being double booked? What are the etiquettes to be followed. Often people double book and it feels like “ my meeting is more important that whatever you have booked time for in yours”. If both meetings are same urgency/importance - what’s the best approach ? Hello! I am a Sr. Product Designer at an enterprise SaaS company and am looking for some help!
I am having a difficult time meeting the expectations of the role because of my previous roles lack of management and more junior role responsibilities. I have been truly dedicating myself to becoming proficient in the necessary areas but am still struggling. Does anyone have any ideas or resource recommendations to help my really grow as a designer? Possibly a type of 1:1 tutoring/teaching sessions?

What can I do outside the office to boost my resume and be a substantially more attractive candidate for top consulting firms in ~12 months time. Working in disputes and valuation role but want to go into management consulting next year (post MBA role). I feel like my job isn’t enough because skills aren’t considered as transferable outside this field.

Watching US salaries increase AGAIN and wondering why Canadian firms don’t have the same pressure to follow these raises. Is it the relatively small number of big firms? Is it that all the big firm managers work together to keep the market in line? Is it the lack of reporting in the Canadian legal press? I feel like we are all getting screwed.
