Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

You must be very smart to get there. You can do your MBA, it will definitely add value. It may or may not translate to $1 on day 1. From my own experience, post MBA I got into a venture which worked out very nicely. I definitely learnt things from MBA which I leveraged. It was worth it for me.
Thank you for the insights
This post was to flex your salary, let’s be honest. But neato and good stuff!
Not a flex, just an honest question. This is a forum of highly experienced individuals and I’ve seen a lot of post of people making way more than this upwards of 500 K TC so why will I be thinking that this this? I added the pay just for some context

To be frank... 230K at 26 as an EM at a non top tier firm is absurdly way too high. You should spend every bit of your energy trying to keep that job as long as possible.
PM1 they don’t make that much with 7 yoe?
Who do you work for that pays a 4 YOE engagement manager 230k and are they hiring?!
That makes much more sense - good for you!
Whats the 2nd M in FAANGMM lol
What firm are you at? Sounds like you have a sweet deal tbh
It’s a FAANGMM company with 7 years of experience

I am in your exact same shoes re: industry and salary, except I am 28 with 6 YOE. I have decided against the MBA. Given that I plan to stop working to have kids for a couple years in my 30s, plus the net loss of $500k of income to go to school full time, plus tuition and livi expenses… it stopped making sense for me financially. I can continue to grow my salary with certifications and lateral moves. It took a while to let go of the idea of a prestigious masters degree though. It was more of a status symbol for me that something that actually makes sense for me financially and will not only help my career, but make me happy.
Just my $.02.
SC1 also working on taking my Cloud practitioner, will be taking it this weekend
I want your job if you decide to move , please.
WHAT EVEN...!? Good for you OP!
What’s your expertise? Need more info on current skills before giving advice.
M1 what are the different steps you took to get into tech sales? With my current position I think it will be possible to get into tech sales.
This was an honest post for advice, not a flex post or just posting a lie for the sake of posting. I have 7 YoE, finished my bachelors outside of the US at 19. I posted here because of the vast experience most people have… I’m grateful to make that much but the pay was more for context. The company on my profile is a previous employer not current employer. Background is in project management & agile
