Hello! I was wondering if someone can explain the difference between PM vs. PMM, and tips for non-PM/PMMs in making a transition to the industry. Are there preliminary skills I should acquire before applying? Any info on day to day and salary will be helpful! Thank you :)

Hi, I am interviewing netcracker. EOY 10 years in UI development. HR is saying I will have to again give managerial technical round even though I had completed 2 tech round followed by HR round. Can anyone spread light in below areas
1. How's the WLB ?
2. How's the Job security - I have seen many reviews about frequent layoff
3. Is there really quarterly appraisal and hike ?

Can you please help with a few technical Interview questions that i should be prepared for ? This is for a senior role in tax compliance for financial services (PE & HFs) .

I interviewed with a top big law firm last week for a Senior Project Manager role. I felt fairly good and confident post the interviews. Sadly I was not given the offer. I remember the Director mentioned that I was over qualified for the position. I’m currently a Consultant… I’m guess I’m not sure how to take the “over qualified” response. Prior to the interviews, I felt I needed more experience …. Lol. Anyone else felt the same?

I’ve been told that cold applying and making no contacts is usually not going to lead to anything, and that’s been true in my experience. But should I reach out to someone first?
