Product manager at tech company or stay in consulting? Salary the same right now. Curious about upside as a product manager, is earnings potential in executive role comparable to consulting partner?
🐠 what’s the better exit opp: Deloitte digital at a manager level or KPMG at a director level? Currently at a manager level with 10+ yrs exp and a Masters. Assuming comp is roughly the same.
TFW when you interview for a job, don't get it, then a year later, you're asked to sort resumes at your current job...and the person who got that job you were rejected for is at the top of the pile

I’ve seen a lot of post on FB about BCG Platinion that lean to the negative side. I am being approached by a recruiter for a position in Europe. Anyone willing to provide more detail on their experience? Maybe willing to chat? I’m also curious if I should be pushing for principal. They mention PL, but that seems like a step down. Thanks, fam! Does anyone know what the expected Jump in salary would be from an L5 to an L6 non tech role ops/strategy. Want to understand how equity refreshes, base salary, and bonus will change.
All 5 interviewed pediatricians say they will be sending their kids back to school without hesitation. What do you all take from this? Does it change your mind on sending your kids back? https://www.nbcnews.com/nightly-news/video/5-pediatricians-on-the-safety-of-schools-amid-pandemic-87569477784
Currently interviewing with Google and working with a recruiter in a specific function, is it frowned upon to keep applying to stuff if it’s relevant to my experience (outside recruiters function)....
Seems like I can get to advanced/final rounds of interviews for these tech companies (manager roles) but keep getting turned down when it comes to offers. Does anyone have any interview tips on how to close?
Interviewed for a job late 2018. Accepted another offer. A day later, the first job reached out and I told them. Lost job for going to HR over a verbally abusive boss. Is it weird to reach back out...
Had an interview on Friday. Interviewer said that they would get back to me sometime this week with a decision. Haven’t heard back yet. Should I email them or wait?
Looking for opportunities for a manager role Capital Market Financial Services, NYC area @ KPMG. What are the chances of getting a local project in this team?
6th year L&E associate here and thinking about transitioning to a position with better WLB. How do you go about getting a government job and are they flexible about WFH, at least a couple of days a week? Recruiters reach out all the time, but always about other firm positions. Tips/ advice much appreciated!
Recent graduate (class of 21) from the UW business school. I came across an open FT associate position at Strategy&’s deal strategy team and was wondering if anyone from S& would be willing to chat? I’m really passionate about consulting and have a major interest in the PE vertical so this was a huge surprise. I’ve been prepping for a couple of months now and would really appreciate the help/opportunity! Would send over credentials but not sure how! PwC Thanks!
In terms of exit opportunities, is it better to be a top performer at a Tier 2 strategy firm (with a good network) or an average performer at MBB (with an average network)?
Plan to exit from Accenture (160k base) in SF to Industry (165k base) in TX after only 2 months of joining. Unfortunately I was aiming for 170k-180k but the highest I can get is 165k, stay or leave?
For MBB interns who finish their summer internships and receive return offers, can they directly transition to FT? Or do they need to wait for some period of time

Anyone given the Googlyness and Leadership interview? What kind of questions are asked?
I feel like I can’t redeem my career. I’ve been out of paying work since I graduated. My bar was delayed due to a medical problem and since then I’ve only been able to find volunteering. I’ve been working for free for 2 years now. My network is tapped, my mentors are confused why I can’t find anything, my law school’s career services actually gave up on me, I don’t have the money to move to a new place, I have no other support and I can’t even go back to retail because nobody’s hiring out here.
Hi Everyone! I’ve been thinking about potentially switching from HR to another field of work. I was curious to know if anyone on here started their career in Hr and ended up in a different field? Also, what field did you end up in and why did you make the change? Thanks guys!

I spend my days without showering, just eating junk food and watching puppy videos. What the bench has done to me..

Anyone realized their child is a very poor speller? What did you and how did you help them? My child is in 2nd grade and I want to help before it gets even worse. Open to all advice. TIA
Unfortunately was just laid off. I’m taking this as an opportunity to look forward to new experiences and people to work with. If anyone knows of any Producer gigs, I’m now available. I’m agency side.
Has anyone taken disability leave, and then used it to look for jobs? How does this work legally?
If you were going to leave EY and wanted a similar culture but didn’t want to step down in terms of perceived brand, where would you go?
I recently shifted my career from data analytics to strategy and feel very passionate about this field. I would love to continue growing down this path, but I’m uncertain of what next steps are, specially to continue working in tech. Would love to hear what your career path has been and if you feel like an MBA is needed in order to keep growing. Thanks!
