You need to be in a good SET (headspace) and SETTING (location)

Start small. Shrooms 1g max. 1/2 tab cid

You need to be outside, especially for shrooms.

Get a friend to do with you, who is experienced. You need a shaman your first gettygo

like

Adding on: dosages aren’t necessarily linear

like

get a pack of Newports. Cigarettes are amusing on psychs and helps to past time, so I've heard.

I’ve done this a half dozen times in quarantine. Mostly, just make sure your in a good mental health state otherwise your trip may not be as pleasant.

like

SA2, ok so I should take all the DMT?

Don’t try it alone. Micro dose with a guide or you’ll get screwed

likefunny

SA1, no guide needed. It would be like saying someone who drinks half a Bud Lite needs supervision.

like

do not do either of those things alone.

@D3 Hahahahah my last run in with them I thought they were chasing me

like

Last time I did shrooms I cried. Bad, never ending trip. Make sure you are in a good place mentally.

like

It’s really best to have a sober person around tbh

like

Yes. Do not touch your phone at all. It will ruin it. Especially social media

Do shrooms before acid.

Always good to have a “spotter” when you’re tripping. Someone that can help you keep a positive mood Incase things go south. I know a group probably wouldn’t happen now but the ideal setting is 2 tripping to enjoy together and 2 “spotting” or doing something that isn’t that mind altering aka devils lettuce.

like

I haven’t done it since quarantine, but we always end up going outside and taking a walk. If you have a backyard it might be okay, but if you are stuck inside an apartment in a city, it could be a bad experience.

like

a bad trip can make your life “interesting” for a good long time. if you can’t trip safely don’t.

like

I was a total newbie, I first read How to Change Your Mind to know what I’m getting into, and then googled around for a good flight instruction.

Find someone you trust (who’s sober) to be with you just in case.

Enjoy!

like

Had the same idea today! Go outdoors and enjoy nature. Hear colors and see sounds!

like

Watch ‘Have a Good Trip’ on Netflix before you do it.

like

Already watched it! Thanks

might I suggest a indigo editable and a restful sleep?

Been there, done that

like

Question- why do you need to have somewhere there with you? I meditate a lot and want to try shrooms to take things to the next level. Are my chances of freaking out that high? Will I want to run around naked on the streets? Like what are we talking about here.

It’s easy to lose sense of self and start second guessing what is going on. Having a friend helps to reassure you and keep you from going down the wrong rabbit holes.

Nightmare scenario and need your help. I moved into a new place in august knowing I was going to be WFH. Quiet, lots of light.

They just started construction right next to my building with all day noise, including a bull dozer and heavy machinery coming within 6 feet of my window. We’re also on the second floor so I mean RIGHT NEXT TO MY WINDOW.

I also have a bunch of men starting at me all day on too of the noise triggering my migraines. What can I do?

I see several posts from people asking how they can help during these times with a few extra $$$ to spend. Here is just one of many ideas.

www.stepuptothetable.com

#stepuptothetable is about helping local restaurants who are struggling during these times. I have seen numerous linkedin posts with videos where people challenge each other to step up to the table & buy meals & gift cards from their community restaurants. A great way for those of us who are more fortunate to support business & keep people employed.

Any books/self help materials for someone who is constantly worrying (and waste a lot of unnecessary time)? E.g. No matter if i pass or fail an interview, there is always something to worry about. The worrying/anxiety multiplies when I proceeded further in the interview stages. Now that I signed the offer and is pending background checks, my anxiety is off the roof as it itches closer to my starting date.
