If you do that you’ll have to be really careful you’re not perpetuating existing exclusivity practices that are problematic. I also agree with the subjectivity of “good” and what makes your eye the gatekeeper of the objectivity of that.
Also if you aren’t really going to be doing your homework about accessing talent who isn’t formally trained, from institutions with less notoriety, are unaccredited , and who are from diverse backgrounds, don’t bother with this.
This industry doesn’t need another person creating limits to access the industry without the future in mind. I’m not saying this is your intention but it’s just something to keep in mind. These recent talent sites that have been coming out are really focused on amplifying talent from underrepresented groups. If that’s not in your field of consideration, I wouldn’t tackle this.
Then by all means carry on! And thank you for being open to a discussion about it. Some fish in here get CRAY with feedback even though they ask for it lol

Wow, so many haters!
OP, if you have time to help juniors get their work seen by people who could give them jobs (including recruiters), then absolutely go for it.
If you’re not taking a commission then I can’t see how it contravenes any laws or agreements.
It could even be a resource for recruiters rather than an insult to them. As a CD you are probably better at nurturing young talent and giving useful pointers about how to present their unfinished or un-produced ideas. That’s your day job after all.
To be fair, Recruiters are often great at finding people work but don’t have to know how to actually do the work or even present the work. That’s not their job.
Im sure you could get some support for this in the Creative Director Bowl.
Whatever Jeremy Carson advises, do the complete opposite. He's a false human being

sounds boring
Sort of already out there, modern copywriter features students, the major ad schools have sites for their graduates too

oh interesting. i wasn’t aware modern copywriter did that.

Start that site. Good luck.
Working not working already doesn’t work
What I feel is needed is more of a platform for students and talented creative people who haven’t been able to access the right internships or who can’t afford Ad schools. I know a lot of talented artists and writers who really want to break into this field but don’t have the resumes recruiters are looking for. I’ve encouraged them to do pro bono or cheap local level work for brands to build up a sort of portfolio along with spec work, but that’s harder on the writer side unless they have some decent photoshop or canva skills.

this seems to keep popping up: a place to help students/juniors create work and build up their books. resumes are difficult, but sponsored partnerships are really interesting. kinda like how the one show student show does it, but more of a dedicated small group for every client.
I know people like to dunk on Jeremy Carson’s LinkedIn posts, but he’s been highlighting student books the last few weeks and I find some of their work really inspiring. You should check out the posts, @op

i’ll do that, thanks!
I think this is a great idea to connect junior talent to your connections as well, there are plenty of talented people in advertising who just can’t get it for whatever reason. I think this is super smart!
Don't help other people without personal gain.
Just doing my part to help an industry of rampant wage theft be a bit more pragmatic!
