How much yearly hike can one expect at Société Générale ?
"Depends on performance" seems to be a very vague answer.
Can someone please elaborate on a better answer.
Also, Can someone shed some light on promotions?
Is there any policy, like you have to work for X years to be eligible for promotion etc.
Thanks in advance.

Do you SM. FB glorifies a very specific subset of roles and titles but there is much more out there and you can find yourself in an awesome spot by not following the herd
OP and SM1, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the specialist track. Great for a huge group of the folks on this forum. I have really gotten to appreciate the value and career path of that track. Comp is very, very comparable (sometimes more) than traditional consulting. There will always be someone who gives off-base examples to pull you down, but I have been in some key roles where I have seen careers truly blossom in the specialist track. Only downside I can think of is, you cannot make Partner. You can certainly make Director. I have seen plenty of cases.
Be very comfortable and proud of being a specialist. You’ll enjoy the journey.
I’m a specialist but I just started so no idea what the differences are 🙃
Thanks, it’s my speciality 🥰
At which firm?
If this is at Deloitte then you’re confused. Specialist is a supervisor track if you’ve actually got a specialty
<facepalm> superior not supervisor 🥳
Thank you for all the valuable input. My main reason though would be for a culture change. Are people more cooperative/honest? I’ve found that there always seem to be a number of nasty players on a project in the consulting track. We all know what I mean. Is it the same in the specialist track?
