Corp Amex due date is Jan 25 but I have not been completely reimbursed for the amount due. Do I just wait and let it roll past the due date or pay out of pocket and get reimbursed later?

It's not due for like a month after the due date. Why would you pay out of pocket? How would you ever get that money back?

like

I let it go past due date. People have visibility into it and will let you know when you need to get involved

like

"Please pay by" date is not the due date. As D1 said, you have a month after that. Do not pay out of pocket for charges on Amex that are expensed in DTE.

like

Pay out of pocket. Normally it's firm policy that we pay off entire Amex bill each month, regardless of when we get reimbursed. I would think it's similar at Deloitte.

DO NOT PAY OUT OF POCKET

I’ve given a detailed summary of all of my expenses yet every month one family member in particular comes to me for rent money (not some, the full amount, and they refuse to get a job). Told a friend of mine in tech I was considering moving to BCG. He asked me if I would have to move to Boston.

I followed up by asking what he thought the top consulting firms were. "I'd guess PwC and then McKinsey are the best. I've also heard of KPMG, Deloitte, and Bain, but I don't know much about them."

Just a reminder that outside our bubble no-one really cares about firm prestige etc.
