I am pivoting out of a management/leadership operations role of 9 years and into a QI/Compliance role. It is a much needed change and career move/goal for me, yet I am having some undiscovered apprehension before my new start date of 9/13.

I failed my first exam and now I am having a difficult time gaining the focus and drive I once hard to study and seat for another… did anyone went through that same thing or similar how did you over come that? I recently did a job interview and I made it clear to the HR my expectation salary is 60k a year, non negotiable.
Today I got the job offer and they are offering me 54k. My current company is making me 50k with tons of benefits which is why I am asking for 60k.

Should I accept the offer or renegotiate?
