Creatives: Is it protocol to be given an assignment during an interview? Suddenly find myself deep into a project here.

Hello Fishians, I am PMP and CSM certified looking for Project/Program Manager role in Learning and Development. I have 15+ yrs industry experience in which I have 3 yrs of PM experience. I am not sure how much should I quote as my PM experience is only on papers and not in designation. I am currently at 18.65L package. Please help.

A friend of mine works with TCS as an Analyst, his base location is Bengaluru but he is been working from his hometown in Lucknow since the first COVID lockdown. Now he is being asked by his team to work from Ahmedabad, where his direct supervisor (manager) is working from. In this case, according to TCS talent policies, what is the procedure and the benefits that he can avail, as part of project initiated relocation? Also, how long it takes to get base location changed through HR in TCS?

If this deal flared up my IBS and I keep having to run to the restroom, do I bill the client for that time or nah? (Yes, I’m thinking about the deal. Yes, I’m posting this from where you think I am.)

Though my current company is an mnc but not that big and no work pressure is there, amazing work life balance. However, there is little to no learning and its very slow, the project is just starting and the client itself is not clear what they want. Do you think I should switch just because its a big 4. Career advice that I give to the people I manage- do one more thing everyday that you weren’t going to do or didn’t feel like doing- for your team or for your client. Could be notes, a follow up, a reminder, raising your hand to tackle and drive something-whatever. That little extra effort against something you didn’t “have” to do, every day, overtime will make you invaluable

I NEED HELP WITH CREDIT SCORE issues: Two months ago my credit score went down by 30 to 40 points due to dad missing credit card payment by a day (i got added to as authorized user on his credit card for me to build credit but now I’m filled with regret). I was devastated by it. This past month I have been making more payments and paid off my aug statement in full thinking it will boost my credit score. Dads with older children: while raising your children, did your children prefer their moms over you? I know some will prefer dads over moms, but I assume majority of children out there will prefer their moms over dads… I have one child and it kinda hurts to see my child always preferring the mom over me. I was recently offered a Zoom interview. The school had 10 interview slots for me to choose from. Three were one day this week and the rest are next week. I chose the first time slot available. How do I be a decent manager to a coworker who's upset I've been promoted twice in two years and they haven't? We started out as coworkers, became decent friends after a few good moments, but went back to simply coworkers after they flubbed a few projects and I had to step in to clean up. I'm non-confrontational but year-end reviews are right around the corner and I'm worried about having to act professional to someone who I got too close with and who now hates me.

Is it really that hard for managers to book their own conference rooms and send out invites? The time it takes to ask one to do it could it not have just been done by themselves?
