I had my first technical round of interview as Sr. Android developer with Tech Mahindra and It went well. How long does it take to know about the result. Also how many rounds are there? The interviewer refused to say his name nor he appeared on video in the interview. Is that the company policy? Tech Mahindra

It's not unheard of, but your book really should suffice. You definitely shouldn't be doing unpaid work they could use.
Sometimes, but should never be real work they could use. And I wouldn't spend more than a couple hours on it - you want me to work, pay me. Overall I think assignments in interviews are dumb anyway, you can tell my skills from my portfolio.
Yes but it should never be something the company could implement without paying you. Ahem, It's not a pitch after all. 😂
Once upon a time when trying to get a position I proposed being given an assignment. I was told that this would be illegal so they didn't go that route.
It's not illegal to ask somebody to work for free, but it's unethical.
Oh. So it's illegal. Okay, great lol.
Lol well that was the excuse OP
