I joined Tiger Analytics with CTC of 9lpa. When I check in greythr IT statement, it shows 7.14lpa.
In the CTC payslip, it shows 75k per month as my salary. But this month I got 61k.
I understand they deduct tax, but I feel it is too much. IDK where I'm losing the money. Can someone tell if this is normal. I'm a fresher so, IDK much about it.
Also, what can I do to pay less taxes? Any help on that?

They both have their positives. You need to see which of the benefits and perks you’ll use more.

Amex has better non points rewards like credits back for Uber, Sak’s, streaming, hotels, flight fees and equinox that end up being well over the annual fee in straight cash back, so not even considering the value of the points. If you fly out of LGA a lot and will fly delta - CSR doesn’t have access to delta lounges but amex does and their airline free credit covers the guest fee.
I just took the 150k Amex offer
I’m not sure what perks will pertain to me the most, since I’m not living that life yet. What’s the best way and best time to approach the decision? Figured I’d want either card before starting the new travel gig.
My friend why rush?
Do a trip or two.
Are you wishing you had lounge access? Then platinum. Etc etc…
I have both. I find more value (points) from CSR for booking travel. But my AMEX is my primary card when I'm outside the U.S plus its other benefits. Get both 🤷♂️.
I travel through LATAM mostly and my AMEX is accepted probably 85% of the time. The remaining 15% is either Visa or cash-only places.
For example, I was in Punta Cana In May for 2 weeks with my wife and my AMEX was only rejected once.

Chase points are more valuable and easier to use than Amex points imo. That being said, the Plat benefits outweigh a greater portion of the annual fee than the CSR for me. Personally I have both, with most of the actual spend going to CSR.
I’m probably going to be traveling mostly domestic and can’t stomach both annual fees. Would Amex plat plus CSP be a worthwhile combo? Or should I just do CSR since I’m mostly domestic in the US?
If you really travel a ton, you won't be paying anywhere near sticker price on both cards. Very easy to use at least a few hundred dollars in credits on each card, dropping your annual fees per card to at MOST like $200, probably less.
But if you had to pick one, in your situation, CSR unless you really want Centurion lounge access. CSR credits are easier to use.
I also have the 150k Amex opening offer available to me
Take that offer! AMEX only offers “lifetime” sign up bonuses. I believe the public offer for the Plat is only 100k?

Also make sure you know if you’ll be charging expenses on your personal card or the corporate card. A lot of people make this mistake and then are stuck with an expensive card.
I believe it’s mostly on the corporate card
The only Amex credit back I think I’d actually use is the Uber credit. Not gonna be spending at Saks, equinox, etc. and I’d try to avoid incidental flight fees. The travel credit, easy entry credit, and doordash credit of CSR seem like things I’d actually use

Amex has 200 dollar hotel / travel credit and 200 dollar fee credit. Fees can also be used for upgrades and guesting friends into lounges. Also has global entry / TSA just like CSR
