I’ve been at multiple big 4s. Making blanket comparisons of firm culture vs firm culture isn’t worth anything….it has much more to do with the practice and group you’re in

Agree with this.
Ey?
KPMG is not that bad in terms of culture and pay. If you think you are a top performer and want to climb the ladder quick, then KPMG may not be the option as the leadership tolerates “mid to low” performer and promotion is more likely to be based on tenure than contribution.

Same
Pwc has great culture but pay is bad
I second that.
Of these, I’d prioritize them in order of Deloitte, then PwC. At KPMG, you’ll have skill erosion.
Between PwC and Deloitte, it’s heavily dependent on practice. I’ve had the opportunity to work with many of them at PwC and alongside Deloitte teams. The teams most aware of and aligned with firm-wide strategy are the ones to be on.
Depends on you. Deloitte and pwc have a lot of type a people and kpmg and EY have mostly type b people. But bc of this I think kpmg is just slow to adapt haven’t looked a lot into EY and the others. Culture also really depends on your team, some teams are more rigid while others are a bit more messy and open ended.
Pay also completely varies per team gotta be a bit more specific on what you’ll be doing
Culture PwC > others
Pay Deloitte > others as long as you’re experienced hire
How would y’all factor Accenture into this?
I preferred Accenture.
