Hey everyone I am an 8 year veteran in the Navy. I am an electronics technician and I am trying to set myself up to transition out of the navy September 2023. I'm an investment banker and in late stages of a couple CorpDev roles of Fortune 200 companies. Both roles report to Head of CorpDev. I would be interested to understand the typical career progression. Assuming Head of CorpDev will stay in position for the next 5-10 years, what is the expectation of upward mobility then? So i have been fortunate that i have managed to go through my career without the need for a degree. I was lucky enough to have been hired by one of the worlds top consulting firms, worked with a whole lot of big clients and travelled a lot. My client things change management is a band aid for poor/nonexistent operational policies. For example: someone isn’t reporting to the right team? It’s a change management issue.
