Currently a PDM GPS Analyst and feel I'm drastically underpaid. Worked as a contractor for over 3 years, finally hired on with a disappointing $65k, the annual raise was a complete joke, and almost at the 2 yr mark.

What can I do about getting more money and transitioning to a more technical role to utilize the skills I've studied for during my degree? I feel stuck. Am I the only one facing this?

Hi! I interviewed for a Digital Marketing Analyst for an agency for Data Center and Telecom PR/ Tech. Since we are virtual country wide, he asked what my salary requirement would be for this role. Why is there such a huge pay difference between IT and Mechanical/auto industries? Many people in IT are getting 3xx salary hikes, but here I am struggling to get more that 20-30% hikes. Sure the skills are much more demand in IT field, but the discrepancy is too much. Is it due to most of the work are outsourced to consultancy/service based companies by the OEM? Or is there simply too much candidates available?

Went for a pre-employment drug test yesterday. They never asked me if I was on any medications. I had to ask them and was told "oh yeah, just put any you may think make a difference in this text box." I put Xanax, Flexeril, and gabapentin. All of which are prescribed and used as directed. Now I'm terrified that I should have put ALL my meds, to including my psych meds. I've been sober over 12 years and never touched drugs (just booze) but I'm having a full blown panic attack.

I pity those who revel in the "accomplishment" of have 100+ YTD utilization. Y'all got suckered by the firm.

Switching from PDM 2 to SpM, should I expect a pay adjustment?

It's day 2 for me at Deloitte (PDM) , just received my laptop yesterday , completed a few of the trainings and created/uploaded my resume. Coach and onboarding advisor have not been assigned yet. When do I get assigned to a project? What does that process look like ? How long does this orientation go on for ? And do I have to transfer all my stocks from robinhood to one of their approved brokerages?

Most of the folks in PDM received no adjustments is it same on other projects too
