Currently analyst at D (71k) on a project not aligned with my interests. Booz Allen offered me a senior consultant position (95k/7k) that aligns with my interests. Would 100% take it but I’ve only been at D for 4 months and I feel super shitty about the thought of telling my leadership I’m leaving since they’ve been extremely nice. Thoughts? Currently 50/50 with a lot of my friends and family saying i should take the offer.

Only issue is I hate it have very little interest in accounting. I have seriously been considering pivoting towards a career in data and analytics by perusing a masters in data analytics or data science. This isn’t really an interview question but more of an on-boarding question.
Bit of background- I left my job of 3 years in Dec 2021 for a new company. Initially, I thought the company was great but my mind quickly changed. The on-boarding process was horrible, minimal training, thrown onto enterprise project 2 weeks in, over time, and there is no process for anything. I ended up hating my job.

Fast forward to Mid March, I started applying for jobs again but I omitted this role.
