Hi, I'm leaving Citi in 2 months. It's hard to make this decision. I have an offer from a small startup. In citi, my previous experience was not considered and was reskilled to different tech which is the reason for change.I don't like to exit citi. As I like the company so much. But considering my current knowledge,I am in the middle of the sea.I am afraid now that the new company's offer would be revoked due to this recession?Or can I take back my resignation in citi before the last working day.Is this wise decision?

Got a random email from a supposed Amazon recruiter for a SDE position (which is not at all a fit). The email is amazon.com domain and there are no red flags in the body but it doesn't feel like an Amazon recruiter due to the tacky signature, etc. Has anyone seen this kind of cold-calling from FAANG recruiter?

Go to Booz. No one will care. Do what’s right for you. This is a great opportunity for you. Life altering. So many analysts were laid off - no leadership was crying about it.

You dont owe a company anything, take the offer
Take it. It will be a few years at least before you catch up. You may not have the opportunity to work for Deloitte again (you may as well, I don’t know how they feel about 4 month boomerangs..), but there are plenty more consulting companies you can jump to later.
Just be prepared that your responsibilities are going to change probably significantly. It may be a struggle at first.
But anyway, the money talks, especially at that level!

OP, that’s a great offer and I can promise you that’s Senior Consultants don’t rarely make this much here. Take the offer!
I just read my comment again and it is riddled with grammatical errors lol. Sorry, I’m also watching the election coverage. Good luck!
Take it! If the roles were reversed, the firm would also do what is in their best financial interest and so should you. It’s business—it’s not personal.
Any day of the week take it. I regret turning down an offer I had early on when I was 7 months in. Ended up being at 60k for 3 years before I made the jump and doubled my income
You will be forgotten the moment you walk out of the door, and welcomed with open arms ( role and pay) the moment you walk back in after your richer experience. These things have always been the same. All the best
Take for salary not project. No one can assure you future project consistency.
Take it, they should have paid you more. It’s early enough in your career.
Take the offer
Take it!!!
Pff business is business
Take it and run.

Take it as you know by now. You may not be able to go back to Deloitte but there are SO many companies out there and you may eventually be allowed back to Deloitte.
Take it!
Do what’s best for you. Everyone else does...
You are way too early in the career to have that level of quandary and alliance. Jump now. As you grow moves become harder to make.

Close your eyes and take the jump. Opportunities are rare.
