Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

I would say united.. Because it has far better international options and you'll have much greater experience internationally..
You can't do both?
EY1 has a good point. American's European partners in one world are pretty much the same level of bad service as domestic, vs United's. But if you're going to Australia or Asia the one world partners are the best.
As much as I hate to say (delta 💎 here), go for United. Better partners. Also, i think status match for American also requires you to throw down a few hundred dollars (at least thats how it was when I looked into it when moving to SF).
I'm American but honestly they're the same flight experience. Someone else can comment on whether United 1K is better than AA EP but seems like people have better luck with upgrades as 1K.
United
AA is doing a Diamond-> EP status match?? Tell me more!
Don’t think American matches status, United will
AA will match Status at least through corporate travel departments with big contracts, though possibly not direct to EXP. Without corporate travel involved they are more likely to do a challenge to a higher status rather than an outright match.
My view on these two: they both aren’t great but the tie breaker is likely your international travel patterns. If you do a fair bit of European travel, UA will be better with more partners there unless that travel is UK focused where BA being in OneWorld with AA is a strength, but they are weak for intra-EU compared to Star Alliance. To South America, the Caribbean and Asia I’d go with AA as American has long been strong in Latin America (via MIA and DFW) and Cathay, JAL and Qantas are great options in AsiaPac. ANA (Japan) and Singapore are good Star partners for UA as well but the Singapore hub is less well positioned for Americas-based travelers.
Also, domestically, the “hole” in the UA network is the Southeast, where IAD is a weak hub, too far north, and nowhere near as well positioned nor having as many flights as ATL or CLT. EWR isn’t a good domestic connecting hub even for the Northeast given its delays. So if you need to be in the Southeast, AA may be a better option. While UA serves most of the cities, with the exception of some weakness in Florida, I’d bet AA has better frequency and/or options either nonstop from ORD or via CLT.
Chicago based and switched United 1k to AA EXP a few years ago. Agree with all posters that UA is better for international but honestly got tired of crappy service as a 1k and I fly 100k miles domestically. AA did a challenge to match - had to fly 25k in one quarter to get EXP status. I do get upgraded about the same and like the AS people MUCH more. They seem happy, which comes across in how they treat everyone regardless of status. Do not regret at all.
They have status match!
