I am currently in an IT internship position (making pretty solid money considering) and following this summer I will stay on part time during my senior year (discussing a full-time job offer after already). I’m getting my computer science degree, so I would like to do something more technical in the workplace when I graduate. Considering taking a position with a small-cap in the US trying to build their legal department. The title is standard “counsel” although the work would be with the senior leadership team and reporting to the GC in Europe. Anybody have any tips on how to go about the relocation conversation? I’m looking to move out of the city with our main office to a city with a much smaller office. With post-covid office culture I can’t imagine it’s that big of an ask.
