In Federal, youâre looking at around 50hr/wk project, about 10hr/wk on internal initiatives and 5hr/wk on networking and such. YMMV but I highly recommend networking like crazy once youâre in. Youâll probably come in around a SC or M so youâll be expected to leverage your network to staff projects and initiatives .
Theyâll try to lowball you around 120k Iâd imagine, depending on your current salary. However, we desperately need people with high clearances due to winning a ton of work we are struggling to staff. So you have a bit of an upper hand in negotiations .

Not sure where D1 got his numbers but I came in at 135k with a TS/SCI and 7 years experience. The offer started at 130k and I negotiated 5k more and a 15k bonus.
