^you must be new around here.
You'll have the performance raise and the promotion raise.
Oh I totally agree the amount itself is garbage . Just like our 401k match!
Not new enough to know that a bump from C to SC is waaaay more than $4k
I'm in Tech and got a 15% base pay bump from C to SC with a 1 rating and a bonus of roughly similar amount.
Heard the same. What a joke
That's ridiculous. 4k is a month of expenses.
My raise from 1st to 2nd year C was 9k..... anyways, range for C to SC is 10-16% depending on performance.
People never ask this question the right way. We do flat bumps for level changes that are generally quite small and not tied to performance. So very well may be 4K. But your total compensation change for the year will be 4K + the pay raise linked to your rating
D4, you are clearly not talking about consulting.... maybe you're referring to advisory? What you're saying is true BY RATING. Depending on rating, the percentages change. I worked on a compensation project internally briefly, so I'm not talking out my ass when.
I think it's a flat $4k
Can some confirm C1? Should be getting the raise as well at the end of the year

I get what you're saying D4, but it is still a little short
@C1 i am talking about consulting.. For instance I got a 20% increase last year based on rating (as you mentioned), but still received a 3k bump when I was promoted like everyone else in my start class (for reference this is S&O GM). I was a mid-year hire; having the promotion bump and annual increase decoupled provided a bit more transparency
When I went from C to SC I got a 4.8% increase for promotion (total joke) and 4.4% for merit.
