Jesus, fly. It’s like a five hour drive.
UNLESS you want to stop at Bucees in Madisonville
Fly in my experience. And it’s probably better done DAL-HOU rather than DFW-IAH.
Seems a good candidate for high speed rail, but that’s a completely different discussion.
Fly for sure. Agree love-hobby is easier. There are plans in the early phases for a high speed rail but many years away. I think it’ll happen eventually.
Drive. You can make it in 3.5-4 hrs. No airport security hassles or dealing with flight delays. Flexibility to leave whenever
1000% agree you should fly DAL-HOU. The drive is super boring. Overall travel time is about the same either way (including security + boarding at the airport), but at least if you’re flying, you can work, read, whatever.
I was in Htown for a gig once and a colleague from Dallas would fly weekly. Said after a long week he’s likely to get tired and fall asleep behind the wheel if he drove. I also think it matters which parts of town you’re going from/to
Fly. Less effort
I drove it a couple of weeks ago and would never fly, unless it is a connection
