A position im looking at defined it further after discussion. Some months will have no travel. Some will have 1 every month. But spring time I need to be willing to fly out often since that’s the busy season.
50% of your week will be traveling.

Math checks out
Deloitte 1 I think the percentages are based on work week. Lots of consulting roles have 70-80% travel meaning Mon-Thursday
EY1, sure, but that isn’t how Deloitte sold travel requirements to D1. When Deloitte said 50%, they really meant Monday through Thursday every week. The house always wins. 😂

May be every other week of Monday to Thursday travel. Some weeks light some weeks not.
I always interpret that to mean Monday to Thursday unless the description specifies 50% travel during a business week. Otherwise, you get Fri-Sun local, so 3 days out of 7, close enough to 50%
I made a principle to never have a job that “requires travel”. So far, been offered plenty, never accepted. Even in my current organization, next level up requires travel. That department’s manager has been bugging me to join his team. Been turning him down the past 3 years. 😆😆😆
