I did always know that I wanted to join the military. I was born into a military family and I knew that I wanted to be a part of something larger than myself. Joining the military gave me a sense of purpose and allowed me to serve my country.
It just sort of happened. After I finished high school, I didn't really know what I wanted to do with my life, so I decided to take a year off and figure it out. I was flipping through the TV channels one day and saw a commercial for the Army. It looked like a lot of fun, so I decided to go for it.
I always wanted to join the military, but my inspiration came from a certain moment in my life. I was inspired to serve my country after watching the Twin Towers fall on 9/11. I knew that I wanted to do something to help make our country safe again. Joining the military was the perfect way for me to serve my country and protect our freedoms.
I was inspired by my grandfather who was a Marine, and I wanted to follow in his footsteps.
In my case, my parents forced me after several legal problems that I had in my youth, and I never tire of thanking my parents; I don't know what would have become of me.
