Did you notice this during the Super Bowl? Do you think it was intentional? While I don’t think it was a blatant push back against DEI, I do think these companies aren’t focused on diversity at all. They are trying to move their products and their focus will always be on the white population first.

This is kind of a reach. I noticed very high levels of diversity across the entire set of programming for the Super Bowl (there were other commentators, players getting the most recognition, performers, even most advertisements featured a ton of diversity).
However, if you are a marketer and you have properly identified your target audience and they are predominately white (two of those are beer commercials), then it makes sense to feature personas that embody that audience (red neck white men for bud light, more sophisticated white men for Stella… for lack of better words).
I find it cringier when they try to stuff minorities in every single thing and try to make it work. Sometimes it doesn’t feel authentic.
Ahhh yes good point. The Meta targeting was definitely questionable. They have a much more diverse audience base
