Do employers actually take proper care of people with disabilities? I have Crohn's disease and have never mentioned in in an interview or application even though it's listed under recognized disabilities. When I have a flare I am weaker in a lot of faculties, and I have had to take leave before and eventually leave the role, but for the most part it's under control. How much do you feel like employers are secretly averse to knowing you have a disability and what benefits are really available?

I do sales for a major engineering firm. Focused on new business and exploring new markets. Last year I was in the top 50% for order intake, and first in number of projects won along with number of new customers. I think this is extraordinary given the effort it takes to win new business.
