Wanted to know how long do they take to come back ? Since today is the last day of accepting the offer , should I just accept this offer and would they still revise it after accepting it ? I had a HR Discussion after clearing 2 HCL rounds and 2 client interviews . HR is not considering moving above 40% hike no matter whatever I say to justify, the Discussion was like talking to a wall . Any suggestions to get another 10-15% more (first offer)? Will HR reject me stating this reason in HCL ?? FYI- Client and the project team wants to take him in as per their feedback to me and I feel i am the right person for the role too .. 9 years exp -Infra storage domain .

Sorry to cross-post. Small company (50 employees) offered me the GC role but was way under market (only 100k - no equity because it’s private). How do I respectfully say, “If you’re firm on that number, I accept but I’m working only 40-45 hours a week.”

I’m currently in the process of being converted from contractor to permanent. My sister might divorce with her husband, they have a baby of 1.5 year. We came from a divorce family and honestly never thought it would happen again - I feel powerless and I don’t know what to do. Interviewed with Chicago court 2 weeks ago; they decide mid-August. Interviewed with DC judge last week; hear from him by this Friday. Chicago said if I need an answer before August, they'd try to make a decision about me sooner.
Should I ask Chicago for an answer? Or should I wait until there's an offer from DC judge? Maybe seems better to withdraw before an offer is made rather than ask for time to think about it/turn down DC? What's proper etiquette?

Is it the smart move to take a pay cut and clerk for a judge?

Little context: I was an ED student, full time paralegal/clerk throughout my law school experience, and a single mother. I did not take advantage of the law school extracurriculars and missed out on clerk application deadlines my final year (2020). Would it benefit me to take a pay cut as a transactional clerk by about $20k to work as a clerk for a year then re-enter firm life? I’m transactional and enjoy that line of work.
