Interviewed at Deloitte, PwC and EY for Advisory Senior Consultant role. Deloitte offered $105K (plus $5K bonus), PWC offered $127K (plus $15K bonus) and EY offered $155K (plus $10K bonus). Surprised with the difference in pay between Deloitte & EY for same role. Is Deloitte Advisory paying less compared to other firms? 4.5YOE in Consulting.

When I was at D GPS, I loved my team, clients were fine, and I personally was responsible for making govt software products accessible, which I found fulfilling. The products themselves could be iffy but i knew that within that my own work was gratifying. Good times and a tough virtual goodbye..
Bro why did you even make this post🤣 I worked products used by nearly 100million americans and I worked on products used only by 100s of govt employees so the impact etc was variable. That's irrelevant to your q and my initial response. You asked about fulfillment in govt staff aug work and that's what I told you
I staffed augged the strategy function for a govt agency before. It was pretty cool and useful for my career tbh
Yep, pretty much. It was borderline just a strategy project. But technically staff aug because we sat there acting as their strategy function.

Did you intentionally try to ask this in the most condescending way possible?

How are we defining "staff aug" ?
Ah Boozy, dont take this post to heart.
Lol this made me chuckle. I was one of the few on my gov accounts that did actual strategy, data science, and consulting-y type work. I think most folks I knew doing the staff aug work enjoyed a lifestyle life over a work life.
The WLB is unmatched, and a lot of these folks I knew were involved in a million things outside of work (rock climbing, D&I groups, raving/concerts, etc). Depends on what you enjoy with your time!
Oh im sorry, i didnt realize anyone would be triggered by my post. Ill work on that next time.
