Received an offer as Engagement Director from Salesforce (CSG, pre sales, L9). Great benefits package, 40% increase in total comp and better WLB.
I do love the people in my practice and current client, but career trajectory has stalled after taking parental leave earlier this year and (yet another) change in leadership.
Realistically, making to Director is 2-3 years away and will require sacrificing time with my family that I am not prepared to give up.
Should I stay or should I go?

My parents made me learn judo as a child so I could defend myself. Got bullied, I beat up the kid. Never happened again.

Also, my mother was a famous criminal lawyer so I threatened them with going to jail.
Your kid gotta stand up for himself or this will last his entire life. Put him in martial arts like someone above said
Depending on the age I would say let it be a learning lesson
Teach the child martial arts
A knee to the bollocks will do the trick
Pick the bully up and put them in the trash can where they belong
Film it. Then sue the parents
Point is I think taking legal actions will do nothing to 1) prevent bullying (kids are smart and they will figure another way that is more insidious and hard to catch), 2) the kids being bullied won’t learn to defend him or her self, an important life lesson! 3) these kids may learn that mommy and daddy will always be there to save them—> long term issues down the road
I’m a millennial and I hear the argument “I’m gonna sue you” all the time in my cohort. This is just unnecessary heat and poor coping skills. Can lead to more mental health probs if you can’t figure out ways to better communicate and defend ur self. We got a snowflake problem already…
I don’t know 🤷♂️ I worried about my daughter her first day at the bus stop. I sent her out there by herself in kindergarten. I watched through the window. Some boy was calling her names. She kicked him in the leg and pushed him over. She’s still fighting her own battles. I remind her of that day occasionally when she’s not feeling strong enough to take on the bullies of the world.

Whoop the other kid’s ass.
Boxing lessons, one good punch and the bully will stop
Interesting choice of bowl for this question… secretly hoping someone will make you a ppt for various strategies…
