Yes, every year. Granted, it's not the best bonus ever, but at least it's something. Last year I was able to take my family on a pretty great vacation with my bonus. This year I'll have to keep it in the bank. Times are tight.
If you were able to take your family on a nice vacation that had to be an amazing bonus. Couldn’t agree more times are tight for everyone especially with all of the inflation it’s insane!
I used to, but when I shifted companies, I no longer got one. Granted, I made the switch and negotiated a bigger salary, but at the expense of a yearly bonus. I do kind of miss that lump sum, but I'm making more overall now. I can live without it, but it would be nice.
Yeah it’s nice to be appreciated thru the year with a lump some of money. A little something to look for however I’m happy to hear you was able to negotiate a bigger salary. What exactly did you argue to justify it if you don’t mind me asking
Unfortunately no. Everyone in my company above a certain level receives bonuses. When they do, it is a potential 8 percent, depending on department funding and performance evaluations......For those of you who do receive bonuses, do not forget to consider the tax implications.
