Is SAS institute a good company for a sales role or is the company dying slowly?

SAS has moved beyond just their base applications and native programming language

While their language may not be as relevant as leading open source ones, they allow for writing code in NoSql, Python, R, and other languages, and minimize risk for organizations since all packages are vetted and the algorithms/calculations are highly auditable for regulatory compliance purposes

They've been making a comeback with a lot of innovation around point and click analytics software and their suite of tools, and still lead Gartner's quadrant in terms of data science categories and crm (i.e. Customer Insights 360). They've also been heavily pushing to move folks to the cloud with their latest analytics suite (SAS Viya)

As regulations increase to require explainable AI and model development, a lot of SAS products will remain preferable

like

Depend on the role you have, but there is a huge focus on shifting legacy platform to migrate to their new VIYA one. You get paid on pro serv so huge potential. But still, very advanced product and if customer are not mature enough it’s difficult to sell!

like

If you have domain and/or industry knowledge on how SAS can help solve business problems and you are willing to work, then sales is always a great spot.

I also find that what industry your sell into is very important to answer this question as well. Needs to be Financial Services, Government, Life Sciences or else it will be a tough sell.

I’ve been on the bench with J1 for about 3 months. I was worried that because I couldn’t find another project, I would get laid off so I found J2, which pays more, is very meeting heavy, but I really like. I’ve kept J1 because I’m still on the bench doing absolutely nothing and getting paid. Thinking about looking for a role on a project with J1 that’s not along my career path but will allow for me to do work with no calls so that I can manage both jobs. Hi guys, Can someone refer for any relevant open position in Kyndryl Inc. below is the brief about my profile
Market Intelligence and Business Research Professional with 9 years of experience in IT/ KPO industry with competency in
Market Assessment: Executing strategic research projects, industry deep-dive, account intelligence, competitive intelligence across US, EMEA, and APAC
Sales Enablement: Assisting senior leaders to solidify GTM approach
Support growth strategy: conduct due diligence

I really ruined things with the most beautiful girl that’s ever liked me before. I still very much like her but she doesn’t anymore. She said I was asking too much of her during the talking stage (after 1 month, I wanted to talk to her more besides only our weekends - she never texted/called).
Do I try again and give her more space or do I move on? I think she might open up more but just takes time which I didn’t give her

Been with my GF since college and we recently hit the 4 year mark. 1-2 years into our relationship I found out she had instances of micro-cheating (flirting with guys, talking to ex’s etc - but nothing physical) and we addressed it. To her credit and my knowledge, she’s been apologetic and great at respecting boundaries since, but I still feel the pain from her actions years ago (and have talked to her about it). Feeling lost about whether to just leave or to try and work things out
