Google Can anyone @google give me a referral for the APMM position in Singapore? Because there I would have a higher chance of getting selected with a referral I wanted to ask if anyone could help me out with that.
I know this is a lot coming from a stranger, I can show you my career portfolio deck and the resume if you only feel that I am a good fit you can refer me. If you think I am not fit, no hard feelings just feedback would do.

I own now, but it's quite a bit of work and stress. Something breaks and it's up to me to find a professional who can fix it and is willing to pick up the phone; or I have to learn how to do it myself. Things have a way of breaking at the worst possible time, too (looking at you, roof leak on New Year's Day, less than 24 hours before an international flight).
Plus, you're kinda locked in for a while given how expensive the transaction is.
Would 100% understand someone who decided they preferred to rent!
OP I was just talking to my friend about this because it feels like in this economy I am never going to be able to buy. As soon as anything comes available that is even close to my price range, it sells like the same day. I don't mind renting but it does kind of bother me because I do want to buy my first home. I just don't know if it is going to be in the cards for me anytime soon.
I've pretty much resigned myself that my standard of living will never be what it was for my parents or grandparents. Such is life in modern America.
Renting for life! It does kind of bum me out that the ability to actually own a home or property is probably not in the cards for me for a variety of reasons. But I just try to look at the positives. And really at this point I would just be renting with a mortgage payment, paying off anything with these prices is wild.
Salary alone won’t let you afford a home unless you’re making like half a million a year.
With my current salary I’ll be able to afford a home in 30-40 years, so i’ve resorted to entrepreneurship to achieve my goals of eventually owning a home. (Not gonna wait a bullshit 30-40 years)
You can create value a lot faster than you can save up your W2 paychecks.
Define here. Anywhere in Bay Area? Between Oakland and Hayward is quite cheap.
I’m ok with renting for the foreseeable future. I don’t know if owning a private home was realistic for most people outside of a very specific period in American history. I could buy in a different part of the country but the local salaries would be lower, and then I might be more limited in other areas of my life. 🤷🏻♀️ Definitely sucks that I can’t have the upward mobility and lifestyle my parents had, but it is what it is.
I think pretty much everyone who lives in the Bay feels this way. I own a home, but my family is quickly outgrowing it and we can't stomach the cost of a normal single family home here, so we're leaving within the next year. California is a mess all around, so while I'm sad to leave my home state, I'm also excited for the possibilities of moving to a new state and giving my kids a better life.
It is super frustrating. Don’t give up.
Vote for change.
